This can be useful: when theres a good enough signal, it can help find the nearest Shell station. Sometimes it sends offers for extra points, which are always good to receive. Mostly the front page shows a map of the nearest station, but the scale of the map is so small that is goes as far south as Lagos and east to the Urals, with the Persian Gulf in the bottom right. Shell can do better than this.
